Dear Participants,

Thank you for joining the Jiangning 2025 International Entrepreneurship Contest. We greatly appreciate your enthusiasm and the high quality of all 60 international projects submitted this year.

After careful evaluation, the Top 10 projects have been selected for the final competition. Finalists were notified individually by email yesterday (15th. of September 2025). Participants who were not selected will also receive an email confirmation.

For reference, below is the preliminary agenda for the finalists’ stay in Nanjing:

• Sept 26 – Matchmaking activities in Jiangning, Nanjing
• Sept 27 – Cultural experience in Nanjing city (public holiday)
• Sept 28 – Morning: Matchmaking activities | Afternoon: Final roadshow contest, closing ceremony & prize announcement
  Sept 29–30 – Study visits and matchmaking in science parks in Wuxi and Changzhou, Jiangsu Province

Jiangning 2025 International Entrepreneurship Contest

I The Background of the Contest

The 5th(2025) Jiangning International Entrepreneurship Contest is a annual events hosted by Jiangning National Economic Development Zone, which ranking No.5 in innovation among 217 National Economic Development Zones in China. This contest is to offer business development opportunities for innovative projects from international entrepreneurs. 

With an emphasis in healthcare, AI, green technology, Intelligent manufacturing, new materials and other industries, contest this year will be held in week 17thNanjing International Exchange and Cooperation for Overseas Conference, Online or Offline. We will invite around 40 entrepreneur teams with overseas background to join the contest. By the guidance of Jiangsu Association for Science and Technology, ten of the 40 teams will win the rewards for special offering to support their business development in Jiangning, including financial support (from 0.3 million to 1 million), office place, investor pitch, business partners match (upstream and downstream),etc. 

The winners usually have better teams, more developed projects and stronger willingness to develop business in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Year by year, our events turn to be more and more effective to promote international entrepreneurs and projects. We look forward to your participation and your contribution!

III  Entry Requirements

The projects shall be creative and present relatively mature product prototypes or service modes, with intention to develop business in Jiangning. The entries shall include one or more of the following topics:

• Healthcare, Bio-medicine

• Digital technology, AI technology 

• Environmental improvement 

• Other innovation areas

Other topics with brilliant ideas and practical business plans would welcome to submit for applying exception. There is no limitation to the type of business model or industry. 

IV Rules of the Contest

Entries will first be selected based on the initial profile submission. Qualifying teams will be invited to compete in the contest in Jiangning online.

Note: To participate the contest, one need to fill a registration form and prepare for roadshow PPT or BP.
